ALTÆR Privacy Policy

ALTÆR ("the app") is a devotional app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Content you create: journal entries you write in the app.
• Usage state: which Bible verses you highlight and which devotion days you mark complete, so your progress syncs across sessions and devices.

How Your Information Is Stored

Account authentication and data storage are provided by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Your data is stored in your own account's records and is not visible to other users. See Firebase's privacy documentation for details on Google's data handling.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show ads.
• We do not share your data with third parties beyond the service providers listed above.

Worship Videos

Worship music in the app is played via embedded YouTube videos. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (journal entries, highlights, and progress) at any time from inside the app: open the menu and choose Delete Account.
